Volodymyr Golozubov (1925–2000) graduated from the graphic arts department of the Kyiv State Art Institute. He worked as an illustrator at the Veselka publishing house. In 1971, for his book «Two Roosters,» Golozubov received the Golden Apple award at the International Exhibition of Children’s Illustration in Bratislava.
