What is Pictoric?
Pictoric is a team of independent curators from Ukraine, uniting illustrators from around the world through exhibitions, creative projects, and visual storytelling. We have been organizing exhibitions, workshops, and residencies globally for over 10 years.Pictoric has collaborated with events such as the Bologna Children's Book Fair, Frankfurt Book Fair, Leipzig Book Fair, Book Arsenal, LUSTR Festival, Graphic Days Torino, the Baba Jaga Festival, Pictoplasma, National Library for Children and Young Adults of Korea, and many many more.Who curates Pictoric?
Olena Staranchuk, Oleg Gryshchenko, and Anna Sarvira are Ukrainian illustrators, curators, and cultural activists who collaborate to bring powerful illustration projects to life.Why does Pictoric do all this?
We absolutely love illustration, and we want everyone to see it, hear it, and feel it.
Our goal is to support talented artists, spark important conversations, tackle tough topics, encourage creative ideas, and build a global community of illustrators. And, of course, to meet awesome people along the way!What does Pictoric actually do?
